I am a Fish Biologist/Ecologist with competence in Natural Resource Governance. My research interests include Community-Based Natural Resources Management (CBNRM) for wildlife and forests in communities proximal to national parks and Game Management Areas (GMAs). I believe that sustainable livelihoods for rural communities and the conservation of biodiversity can be achieved if all stakeholders (i.e. the communities, the state, private firms and civil society organisations) are equitably and transparently involved in the formulation and implementation of management strategies and sharing of benefits from natural resources.
