BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Dr. Munalula joined the Copperbelt University in October 2011, having previously worked for the Department of Forestry (GRZ). As a Forester, he supervised staff, workers and operations to ensure that they contributed to the sustainable management of forest resources. As a member of the faculty at CBU, Dr Munalula is involved in teaching, research, and community service. Apart from being appointed as Head of Dept. (Biomaterials Science), he has also previously held the position of Programmes Coordinator at the CBU Centre for Academic Development.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dendrochronology. Climate-growth relationships. Non-destructive evaluation of wood. Primary wood processing. Wood composites. Biomass resource characterization
