Dr. Kabwe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, School of Natural Resources of the Copperbelt University. She joined the University in September 2011 as a Lecturer. She has been lecturing in forestry and socio economic courses including agroforestry, sociology, extension, etc.; has undertaken research in wider areas (value chain innovation platforms, forestry landscape approaches, food security, energy poverty; and consultancies. Prior to joining the Copperbelt University, she worked for The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and Zambia Forestry College. Within the University, she has served as Head of department and Director of External Relations. She has wide experience in academics and research.
