ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
PhD in Plant Breeding. Works on improvement of yield, culinary quality and shelf-life of field and horticultural crops. Due to low and unpredictable funding for such crops, utilizes mutagen induction and a combination of conventional and molecular screening to shorten the breeding cycle. Currently working on improving agronomic practices for longer pineapple shelf-life.
