  • BSc. Wood sciences, 1991, University of Wales, United Kingdom
  • Dip. Forestry 1984, Zambia Forestry College, Kitwe, Zambia

Mr. Ng’andwe joined the Copperbelt University as a lecturer in March 2002 and was appointed Senior Lecturer in April 2015. Phillimon is involved in teaching, research, and consultancy. He uses science, technology, and commerce to find solutions that enhance the forestry sector’s contribution to the national green economy. His areas of research are tree growth modeling and wood protection. His research appears in Forestry Policy, Forest Ecology and Management, International Forestry Review, and Elsevier book publishers.
