Mr. Fushike joined the Copperbelt University as a Lecturer in December, 1995. Peter is involved in all the three legs of the University’s mission: teaching, research and service. He has been involved in a number of administrative assignments including deanship at the School level. His research appears in Sustainable livelihoods in the green economy, African Journal of Ecology, Journal of Forestry Research, and others.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Spatial temporal analysis of land use/land cover on the Copperbelt using geospatial techniques.
  • Baikiaea forest response to shifting cultivation
  • Management of Eucalyptus on various topography, moisture and nutrient regime.
