Mr. Fushike joined the Copperbelt University as a Lecturer in December, 1995. Peter is involved in all the three legs of the University’s mission: teaching, research and service. He has been involved in a number of administrative assignments including deanship at the School level. His research appears in Sustainable livelihoods in the green economy, African Journal of Ecology, Journal of Forestry Research, and others.

- Spatial temporal analysis of land use/land cover on the Copperbelt using geospatial techniques.
- Baikiaea forest response to shifting cultivation
- Management of Eucalyptus on various topography, moisture and nutrient regime.
