RESAERCH INTERESTS

Prof Stephen Syampungani is the ORTACHI Chair holder-Environment & Development focusing on Environmental Management.  His specialization is wide covering  i) Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment ii) Environmental degradation management, forest ecosystem resilience, and rehabilitation of degraded forest ecosystems iii) Development of ecological models for restoration and management of mining generated wastelands iv) Developing New and Improved Silvicultural Systems for Improved Livelihoods and Ecosystem Functions of Zambezian phytoregion. Stephen has widely published in reputable journals.
