RESEARCH INTERESTS

Mr. Zulu is finalizing (currently working on examiner’s comments) his PhD at the University of Reading. He joined the Copperbelt University in May 2013 as a Lecturer in Agroforestry. Prior to joining the Copperbelt University, he worked at Kasisi Agricultural Training Centre (a local NGO involved in research and promotion of sustainable agriculture in Zambia) as an Agroforestry Specialist in 2005 and later appointed Program Manager in 2011. Mr. Zulu is involved in teaching agroforestry related courses. In the broadest sense, his research covers sustainable agriculture including agroforestry and yam production and productivity in Zambia. Yam has been neglected by researchers in Zambia, besides some farmers growing it.
