Marian Mtonga-Kamanga is a Lecturer and Researcher at The Copperbelt University in The School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies and Sociology and a Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies from The University of Zambia. Marian is part of the Copperbelt University UNESCO CHAIR Secretariat. She is also one of the researchers of The Copperbelt University African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining (CBU-ACESM) research team on the Kafue River Catchment with focus on livelihoods, gender and climate change and water security among other aspects.
