The Department provides an undergraduate programme in urban and regional planning. This programme equips graduates with tools to work in planning-based roles both locally and internationally because of its strong international connections.  It focuses on principles and application of Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Physical and Human Geography, Planning Theory, Legislation and Practice and GIS Technology. The Department also runs a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) and an MPhil and PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at postgraduate level.
