The university, in collaboration with the EU-Delegation to Zambia and COMESA, held a Career Inspiration Fair for 300 final year students at the University. The event was graced by Her Excellency, Ms Karolina Stasiak, Ambassador of the European Union to Zambia and COMESA and was attended by industry players, academicians and students.
The fair, whose main focus was enhancing human capital development by bridging the gap between industry and academia to produce industry-ready graduates, started with a Business Leaders Inspiration Talks session where industry leaders gave motivational and inspiration talks to the students. Later the students had one-one meetings with industry participants to gain more insights on opportunities that lay ahead of them.
The career fair was more than just a networking event, it was an opportunity for the students, to explore, to inquire, and to envision the future they want for themselves as they aspire to reach new heights.
