The copperbelt university has  joined hands with government in the fight against cholera. In the wake of the public health threat, students of the Copperbelt university have launched a cholera free campaign involving routine cleaning of the campus surroundings and lodging hostels. 

Kitwe District Commissioner Mr Lawrence Mwanza together  with management of the university, joined  the students in the cleaning exercise being held under  the theme: uniting for a cholera-free Cbu.

In his remarks, Mr  Mwanza commended the students for the great initiative and encouraged them to foster a mindset change towards self responsibility.
