The Copperbelt University Dental clinic at Michael Chilufya Sata School of Medicine, Ndola campus, is commissioned by Professor Nkandu Luo.
The Honorable Minister of High Education, Professor Nkandu Luo (MP) visited the school on 7th July 2018. The purpose of the visit was to commission the Copperbelt University Dental Clinic at the Ndola campus. The Minister was welcomed by the Chancellor, Professor Muyunda Mwanalushi. Prof. Mwanalushi informed the Minister that the state of the art dental equipment in the Dental clinic was purchased by the university through a grant from the government of the Republic of Zambia. The Minister commended the University management for coming up with this initiative. She noted that this clinic will promote interaction between the university and the community on health related issues. The clinic will provide best dental services unequalled in the county to the community of Ndola city, Copperbelt province, and the rest of the country. The clinic is currently used in the training of Bachelor of Dental Surgery students in the school. After her speech of commissioning the clinic the minister was taken on a tour of the school by the Dean, Professor Seter Siziya ending up with the cutting of the ribbon at the clinic.
