Research Focus

Mercy M. Fandamu is an Economist with experience and has conducted academic research in Agricultural and Environmental economics as well as Macroeconomic research. She has conducted and managed several research relating to socio-economic issues particularly agriculture and food security, environmental and natural resources management and public health under various institutions and organizations in Zambia and Malawi. These research activities include baseline studies, monitoring and evaluation studies. As a Lecturer before, she has taught several Economics courses at undergraduate level and supervised several microeconomic and macroeconomic student research studies ranging from household income analyses and livelihoods sustainability to impacts of macroeconomic variables on the economy.
