The Chaplaincy Section is a multi-faith section which is there to talk to any student or member of staff of any faith or none or world view and acts as an independently listening ear. Broadly, the section provides pastoral and religious functions including prayer space for students, visits them when in hospital when they are sick and supports deceased students’ families during their burials. In addition to that, the section provides pastoral care for the students dealing with mental health crises. The section is also responsible for sourcing scholarships for the less privileged students and also officiate at all University functions.
