The Halls of residence at the Copperbelt University provide students with secure, clean, comfortable and supportive living environments that enhance co-operative community living and students’ personal, social and academic development. This section strives to provide sustainable living and learning environments in the interest of promotion of student access and success.
The Accommodation Section is responsible for the management of all the student spaces. It ensures compliance to the Rules and regulations that govern the allocation and their stay in the spaces. Currently, the Section has a total of 2200 student spaces under its care at Main Campus and at 32 student spaces at the School Graduate Studies in Parklands. All the spaces are shared spaces and are available to all the registered students who apply on a first come, first served basis.
Paramount in the Accommodation Section management is addressing Off-Campus students’ needs. Every effort is made to ensure that Off-Campus students reside in conducive environment for learning, working in collaboration with the Landlords of the Boarding Houses.
