On the 18th, the CBU Delegation to Canada arrived in Toronto at about 08:40 hrs and had a first contact meeting with Mr Patel on the linkages and partnerships with the private sector in Toronto as well at USA. Mr Patel lived in Zambia particularly in Mufulira where he served as Councilor during the first Republic.

On 19th August, 2019, the CBU delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr Evaristo D Kusunga - the Deputy High Commissioner to Canada. The Deputy High Commissioner welcomed the delegation and informed the delegation the mission had made necessary contacts with various Universities and organizations to which CBU would make linkages as ITNM pursues its mandate.
