The Corporate Affairs unit is responsible for handling a multitude of internal and external communications with various stakeholders to keep them informed of the important organizational developments, to create and develop valuable relationships, to foster a positive image and preserve a good reputation of the institution. The Unit is charged with the responsibility of initiating, promoting, facilitating, managing and coordinating:

1. University-Industry linkages aimed at bringing both students and faculty closer to the industry in terms of industrial placements, staff and student exchanges and mobility, collaborative research projects and worldwide networking consultancy and collaborations in training and education activities as well as promote business partnerships with suitable companies or investors aimed at linking them to various business projects and innovations in the university.
2. Alumni relations aimed at developing means by which to engage CBU alumni and ‘Friends of the University’ though the common bonds of academic program / schools / university as well as alumni sponsored events and projects.
3. Media relations aimed at maintaining the image of the university, gaining publicity and disseminating information to members of the press and other representatives as well as informing the University community of the various activities and programs that are taking place within and around the University.
