DEPARTMENT OF ARTS

The Department of Arts (Musicology) currently offers both University academic programs as well as vocational skills and short courses through our CBU Community Music School (CMS).

There are currently two degree programs offered in the Department of Arts

• Bachelor of Arts in Music with Performance ( both regular and evening)

• Bachelor of Arts in Music with Education ( regular and evening)

Our Community Music School   is open to the public and offers  music lessons  to children (6 years and above) and adults  in

☆ Classical and Jazz Piano, guitar and Voice

☆Beginner to advanced  Music Theory and Sight Reading

☆ Choral and Instrumental Conducting

Strings ( Violin, Cello)

Woodwinds ( Flute , Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon)

 Brass (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba)

Percussion(African Drums, Drumset)
