Biography
Mwale specializes in research relating to forest ecosystem assessments, including tree inventory and forest biomass studies, forest carbon stock assessments, land use and land cover change assessments, biodiversity studies, and forest policy and governance. She is also involved in environmental impact assessment studies, environmental management and social development. Mwale’s research attributes include a thorough literature search, statistical analysis and interpretation, critical thinking, manuscript development and report writing. Mwale is using various software packages in her research work, including R statistics, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), ArcGIS, and ERDAS Imagine Software. Mwale is currently pursuing a PhD in Forest Science and holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and a BSc in Agroforestry.
