Online Payment and System Integration

Currently, payment of goods and services in Zambia has been restricted to cash exchange, cash deposits, bank transfer and mobile money thereby inhibiting the e-Commerce. To mitigate such a challenge, the Directorate of ICT provides an Online Payment solution which can be integrated with any e-Commerce platform thereby remitting transactions in real-time. In addition, the system also enables the clients to reconcile the transactions either on a daily basis or as when they deem fit.

The Directorate of ICT is also responsible for integrating banking systems with major accounting systems. Therefore, if you are an institution interested in the integrations, the Directorate of ICT shall be at your service.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

To ease the payment of various employee allowances and supplier payments, the Directorate of ICT developed an Electronic Funds Transfer application which integrates with the various Payroll Systems, Human Resource Management Systems, Procurement and Stores Requisition Systems. Therefore, if you are an institution which is tired of preparing payments manually, the system is an ideal solution for you.
