Postgraduate Training
CBU-ACESM is committed to developing highly skilled professionals through advanced postgraduate training programmes at Master’s, MPhil, and PhD levels. These programmes are designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, research skills, and practical experience required to address sustainable mining challenges at national, regional, and global levels.
Our postgraduate training adopts a transdisciplinary and research-driven approach, integrating coursework, fieldwork, internships, and collaboration with industry partners. Students are encouraged to engage in innovative research aligned with the Centre’s thematic areas, including environmental management, energy systems, ecosystem monitoring, and socio-economic development.
The Centre also promotes inclusivity and capacity building by supporting underrepresented groups and fostering international collaboration through exchanges, workshops, and conferences. Graduates from CBU-ACESM are equipped to become leaders, researchers, and change agents in sustainable development.
