All applications to the Copperbelt University are done through the website at https://www.cbu.ac.zm/apply/opus.

The Copperbelt University Lusaka Campus currently does not offer any Bursaries, Loans or Scholarships. All our programmes are offered on a self-sponsorship basis.

We are located at Plot No.37605, Lake Road, Kabulonga next to Choppies Supermarket.

We have two semesters each year: January to June and July to December

A student is allowed to take up to a maximum of three courses and in very exceptional cases determined by the University, one may take four courses in a semester.

Two (2) years for a Postgraduate Degree

Four (4) years for an Undergraduate Degree

To be eligible for admission to Copperbelt University, candidates must have attained a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Levels with a Credit or better in English, Mathematics and any three other subjects. Additionally, for postgraduate programmes, applicants must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

At the Lusaka Campus, the programmes offered by the School of Information and Communication Technology (SICT) are categorised as lab-based, while the other programmes fall under the non-lab-based category.
