The four year programme will lead to a B.Sc. undergraduate qualification in chemistry. While providing dedicated subject specific learning the programme will strongly emphasise on opportunities to develop problem solving and practical skills.
This degree will be applicable to a range of career paths and patterns of employability in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, environment, food and drink companies working as toxicologists, biochemists and forensics. Within these companies there are many varying roles working within research, design, production, marketing and management using their expertise. The graduates may also have career opportunities in agriculture, analytical services, biotechnology, education, chemical sales, oil and petroleum, mining, health sector, polymer, textile, water, research and development, etc.
