It trains teachers in STEM subjects. To be eligible for admission, candidates shall satisfy the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five GCE \u2018O\u2019 Level credits or better in the Zambian School Certificate or its approved equivalent as follows: English Language, Mathematics, and either One or Two of the following subjects: Physical Science or Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Physical Science and Science count as one subject. In addition, applicants may be required to have GCE \u2018O\u2019 Level credits or better in any two of the following subjects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combined Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional Mathematics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>History<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Literature in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human and Social Biology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Zambian Language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commerce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Principles of Accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Religious Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agricultural Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BSc. Non-quota<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The University has a non-quota in year 1 where all prospective students who intend to do Programmes in the School of Medicine, Engineering and Natural Sciences apply as first years.
