In addition, the department provides professional guidance on the management of various collections housed by the Library Catalogue. In order to perform these functions, the department consists of the following sections: the Collection Development (Acquisitions), Cataloguing &amp; Classification, and Serials Control Unit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical Services Sections<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Collection Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cataloguing &amp; Classification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cataloguing and Classification\/ Collection Development Section<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main function of the unit is to acquire and create bibliographic records for information resources, and essentially provides link and user access to the Library online public access catalogue (OPAC).
