Paper Presentation by Dr.Gillan Kabwe During International Women's Day 2016,Kitwe

"Gender Equality is essential as a strategy for poverty reduction. Research has shown that nations that have high levels of female enrolment in education also have high levels of economic productivity. Research has also shown that countries with smaller gaps between women and men in areas of education, employment and property rights have lower child malnutrition and mortality, more transparent businesses and Government, and faster economic growth. These therefore, help economic growth and subsequently help to narrow the gender gap."
